Felix Cocktails et Cuisine

Not the best experience was had here for dinner at Felix... The lobster deviled eggs are a pass, didn't find a bit of lobster. The Mac and cheese is okay, the French onion soup is a bright spot. Once dinner came out there was hope but that was quickly snuffed out. The chicken roulade was.. a bit cold and could have used some more salt. The potatoes that came with it were not seasoned, literally just potatoes. The mushroom pasta was lacking in mushrooms significantly... And unfortunately we found a piece of cardboard in it. Our server offered to replace it and did comp the dish, but still unfortunate. Overall, I probably wouldn't be back, the real saving grace is the atmosphere, it is a very nice feeling restaurant. Probably best to just have a cocktail here.

Once a month I get with some of my friends and try a new restaurant. Today we went to Felix on King St. Such a wonderful decor full of warmth giving off elegance and comfort. This restaurant feels like a place the locals stop by and that’s the kind of vibe I love. Our server, Sydney was very knowledgeable of the menu and provided tons of recommendations. For starters we got -Lobster Deviled Egg- Creamy and one bite isn’t enough! -Soup à l’Oignon- rich flavor with a cheese pull that was perfect. A must when you come to Felix! -Modules Maison- The mussels were addictive with flavorful broth. A crowd pleaser for sure. -Fromage Fort- We couldn’t get enough of this cheese dip. The punch of flavor was the perfect compliment to the baguette. Main Course -Wild Mushroom Pasta- a silky and smooth pasta in a Parmesan cream sauce. A great portion size that will resonate with anybody. -Racelette Burger- A wonderful and juicy burger made with short rib patties, dijonnaise, raclette, and caramelized onions. The taste was phenomenal and accompanied by hand cut truffle fries. If you’re in the mood for good food and amazing service Felix is your next stop.
